Blackford House Medical Centre is pleased to be a member of the Dementia Action Alliance. Members of staff have had training to improve their understanding of patient’s with dementia, and to improve the assistance and help we can offer our patients and their carers.
Dr Alier is our dementia lead at the practice; he provides training and support for our practice team to develop the dementia care we offer to our patients. Our medical receptionist, Olivia Thompson, is our dementia co-ordinator at the practice.
